About Us
Mission Statement
Central Equine is a company committed to growth by exceeding the expectations of our customers, associates and partners.

Our goal is to connect the show horse world’s riders, trainers, horses, retailers, horse shows and events together fast and more efficiently through print, web and video, thus making Central Equine the essential equine resource.

We strive to create an environment where all customers and associates are valued and respected, and where doing it the “right way” takes precedent over doing it the “easy way.”
We aspire to be the industry leader in proactively setting standards of excellence in the marketing of show horses, online communities and journalism.

Our growth is built on honest business practices, a strong commitment to our customers, associates, and a dedication to providing the highest standard for our publications and websites.
What We Do and How We Do It

We combine the power of our website and publication to ensure that both the people and businesses we represent reach the maximum number of horse enthusiasts. With a reach of over a 15,000 horse enthusiasts every month online and 35,000 readers of the eBook, Central Equine is connecting the show horse world and beyond.
Horse Marketing

Website
The Central Equine website is designed to expand the members’ sale horse exposure through a multitude of exposure points. Each farm that lists their sale horse on the site receives a farm and member section inside the Central Equine website. This is a reference point for potential buyers, allowing them the ability to learn more about the owners and/or farms listing their horses with Central Equine. The result is that buyers can communicate faster and more efficiently with the farms and/or owners through the member section and can begin building relationships and trust in the same way they would build relationships at a horse show when shopping for a new show horse.

When buyers are looking for a new horse in today’s rapidly moving world, they want and need the correct information as fast as possible. Central Equine’s horse listings provide the information they are looking for at a click of a button. Inside every horse listing buyers will find videos, photographs and detailed information, which can more effectively help them find the type of show horse they are looking for.

For the trainers, the ability to get the correct information about their sale horse to the buyers is priceless. When sellers use Central Equine it takes the problem of getting all of the information to the buyer out of their hands—the seller no longer has to waste their time sending videos and information to the buyer. Central Equine is single-handedly providing the show horse world the ability to reach more buyers faster and more efficiently.

Publication
Central Equine’s eBook is a bi-monthly publication that is a supplement to the Central Equine website, giving sellers the ability to reach even more buyers. Central Equine created the eBook as a means to fill the gap for buyers who aren’t looking on the web for show horses for sale.

The eBook is designed with the same theory as the website, providing a multitude of exposure points for the sellers. Each type of show horse has it’s own section in the eBook: hunters are listed with other hunters, as are jumpers, equitation horses and stallions. This is to help the buyers find the type of horses they are looking for fast and more efficiently.

Every listing in the eBook has a photograph, detailed information about the horse for sale and seller contact information. There are two types of listings in the eBook, regular listings and feature listings. Regular listings are 1/6 of a page and have basic horse information. Feature listings are 1/3 of a page with more detailed information and descriptions.

eFarm Packages
Through Central Equine’s experience, we have learned that most buyers have more than one horse for sale and move them very quickly. This is why we created the eFarm package for bigger sellers. The eFarm package also allows the seller to list multiple sale horses and advertise their business through Central Equine’s website and publication giving them a much larger public reach than they would get on their own.

Account Executives
Central Equine’s account executives not only make sure our clients and their sale horses are up to date; they expose our clients and their horses throughout the extensive network of active show horse buyers and sellers in the show horse world. Whether they are at a horse show or at the office, our account executives are actively helping buyers find horses for sale through our clients.

When a buyer is looking for a new show horse, our account executives work together with their clients to try and find a potential match for the buyer. With today’s rapidly moving world our executives stay in constant contact with our clients to make sure they are up to date on what sale horses each client has in stock. This added process helps ensure that a buyer finds what they are looking for and the sellers receive constant targeted horse sale leads.
Website

Overview
Central Equine’s website is not just another online horse marketplace. The website has been engineered and designed to connect the show horse world. The development of the Central Equine website has been created with the idea of “community” and “trust” in mind. It is a place where every show horse enthusiast will be able to come and see the who, what and when of the show horse world.

Network Section
The Network section of Central Equine’s website is a place where show horse enthusiasts can have their own place in the horse show world and stay in touch with show horse friends. Members can create a personal profile with detailed information and upload photographs to their profile and farm’s profile pages. Members can also update their horse listings without having to contact their account executives.

With Central Equine’s networking website, communication is easy. Members in the member section can communicate through a multitude of ways. Members can write each other private messages or leave public comments on their friends’ profile pages.

Farms can also create their own farm profiles in the network section of the Central Equine website in order to stay in touch with their clients and sale horses. In the farm section, owners can post show results and upcoming events such as the next horse show the farm is going to attend. The farm can also keep their clients up to date on what the farm is planning and how the farm has been doing at the shows by sending a single message. In addition, the farm profile feature gives potential clients a way to see what services the farm has to offer.

The network is the first complete equine community for the show horse world. Now you can feel like you are still in the loop even though you’re at home.

Horse Listings
Every horse listing on Central Equine’s website has been designed to give buyers the right information and details for each horse. Through our knowledge of buying and selling show horses, we have developed the online horse listing for maximum sale horse exposure.

Every sale horse listing on Central Equine is required to have video, three photographs and detailed information. This gives buyers the information they need when they are looking to buy a show horse. Without this information, a buyer has no idea what they are looking for and they cannot make a sound decision about a sale horse purchase. For the seller, the online listing gives them the ability to find legitimate buyers for their sale horses.

With Central Equine’s online sale horse listings, sellers can now update their sale horse’s information on their own. To change a sale horse’s information, a seller simply logs into their member account on Central Equine’s website and can then update every horse that is listed online without having to contact an account executive. This helps ensure that all listings are correct and up to date.

eBook Section
The eBook section of Central Equine’s website is designed to give our viewers the ability to read past published articles and interviews. Each online article includes the full article, photographs and additional photographs that where not published in the eBook.
Publication

Overview
The eBook was a strategic development of Central Equine, developed to maximize the exposure of Central Equine’s sale horse listings. Central Equine’s eBook has been designed based on what horse show enthusiasts want to know and read about. Inside the eBook readers will find articles, interviews, sale horses, horse show guides, horse show photographs and product spotlights.

The publication was created to allow horse buyers to see what sale horses where available through Central Equine while at the horse shows. Since Central Equine is not only a show horse marketplace, but also caters to the horse show lifestyle, the eBook was designed to include relevant show horse world content.

Articles & Interviews
Inside the eBook readers will find articles and interviews with top riders, trainers, breeders and other show horse professionals from around the globe. Every article and interview is written with a personal touch and includes useful information about the subject written.

Sale Horses
Each type of sale horse listing is separated into categories. Hunters are listed together, as are Jumpers, Equitation, and Stallions at stud. This is to ensure that show horse buyers find what they are looking for quickly and efficiently.

In each horse listing in the eBook readers will find the basic information and a photograph of every horse listed with Central Equine. If interested, the buyer can then log on to Central Equine’s website to view the sale horse’s detailed information, video and more photographs.

Show Guides
Since horse show locations vary and most people are unfamiliar with the areas they are in, Central Equine added a section in the eBook to help readers find information on where to stay, eat, shop, and play when they are not riding at the horse show. In addition, readers will find a list of upcoming horse shows for the following months, allowing them to plan their show year with ease.

Extras
Central Equine’s eBook includes plenty of extra sections for readers. The Ring Side section contains photographs of horse enthusiasts from all over different horse shows. Every issue also has spotlights on equine related products and services.

Distribution
The eBook is distributed to subscribers, major horse shows, bookstores and tack shops, ensuring its availability to show horse enthusiasts around the globe. Readers can pick up a complimentary copy at any horse show or may purchase one at any one of the 330 booksellers nationwide (such as Barnes and Noble Booksellers or Hastings Books) that carries the eBook.

Central Equine takes pride in knowing that through their extensive eBook distribution, everyone has the chance to feel connected with the show horse world.
