Handcrafted by Frederic Butet Sellier in Samur, France, the Butet is the most fully customizable saddle on the market today. The impeccable design with a choice of two different seat depths, flat or deep, combined with a multitude of flap patterns in each seat size make it easy to obtain the absolute correct position of the rider with the correct size flap pattern. These options are also available in varied tree widths to facilitate an accurate fit of the horse. The solid vegetable-tanned leather used on the flaps and skirts are without any doubt the best that can be bought today. We then take this supreme leather and age it for an additional 12 months; a process that is above and beyond even the best of standards. The knee pads and seats are made of the finest calfskin available in the world. Each Butet comes with a complimentary jar of Butet's Akene Conditioner and a fleece lined Butet saddle cover.
