TheHorseStudio.com joins Willowview Hill Farm International to sponsor a series of evening clinics " Givebackpayitforward" 2010 program.
Join hosts Grand Prix trainers Tina Hammond and Paul Alvin-Smith for a series of evening dressage clinics in Millbrook, NY, beginning March 15th, 2010.
The new series entitled " Just Ride " will focus on the rider beginning their dressage career.
" Our aim with this series is to provide a solid and correct foundation for riders from the start of their dressage careers. All ages are welcome. Paul and I will be riding four horses, at various stages of development and talent. We'll share with the audience the methods with which we address training under saddle on both young horses and the retraining mount. We'll cover the ups and downs, common faults and shared anxieties that a rider can face with a young horse," says Willowview Hill Farm International trainer, Tina Hammond.
TheHorseStudio.com will provide refreshments for the auditors, and during intermission will provide a Trunk Sale, where the very latest high tech riding apparel and horse accessories will be showcased. " We have some super new lines including the premier riding breech line from FITS. Their Spring release breeches will be available. We currently stock FITS at TheHorseStudio.com and folks rave about them. Plus we have the best prices! Also we'll debut the very fashionable trench training coats - a must for any trainer. These riding coats replace the old wax variety that many riders suffered. They keep you dry, clean and comfortable both on the horse and off. A perfect solution for the dressage warm up arena when weather can be unpredictable and also super to wear around the barn. TheHorseStudio.com line of bridles will also be available. Our 'Degas' economy bridle has been a top seller. Great quality and only $59.00 including reins," states Kathy Collins, Sales Manager for The Horse Studio Inc.
President of TheHorseStudio.com, Paul Alvin-Smith continues, " We are always looking for ways to give back to our customers and while we've usually sponsored two day clinic events, these evening clinics are very well received too. I'm surprised more people don't offer them. They are extremely popular in Europe. I guess they are well attended because folks can finish their work day and kick back and enjoy the clinic and network with other horse lovers without missing students lessons, work schedules or halt show preparations during the season. It's a lot of fun. I love taking part. You never quite know what your horse is going to be feeling like when you begin. The unpredictability provides some good fun for the auditors for sure. Real time issues crop up, and for the rider overcoming fears and 'just riding' is paramount. I think when people see that no matter how wonderful a horse goes, he has his moments and it's how you handle those moments that counts, it gives them confidence. No-one is perfect and this type of event brings people together. I love the camaraderie in the eventing world - of all the disciplines eventers just have it right. Tina and the team at Willowview Hill Farm International build that kind of down to earth approach too. That is why TheHorseStudio.com supports these clinics. It's all about sharing and team effort. No-one can be successful without a lot of support. Please come and register at TheHorseStudio.com, then you'll receive updates on all our clinics and events, as part of our
' givebackpayitforward' 2010 program. We'll be helping with horse rescues, educational clinics like these as well as offering products like art collectibles, books and horse design stationery for sale where all proceeds will be donated to charity. When you register you'll also be automatically entered in our free gift program for 2010. Check us out on Facebook and Twitter too - plus we have podcasts, short "how to" video downloads from our own Team and lots more going on in twenty ten."
This is the first in a three part series. Look for the second ' Just Ride" clinic in April to be hosted by FEI coach Greta Kemmer, which will encompass jumping and dressage. The third clinic is yet to be announced.
